It is heartbreaking that lawmakers think themselves high-minded and righteous enough to make life or death decisions for individuals they don’t even know and the consequences for which they cannot bear the burden. Now two lives are destroyed and countless more because the law prevents a woman from aborting her child. Resting in peace? I don’t think so because the unborn are more valuable than the living.
